Great run and a unique opportunity to run in that area. The run is not technical but does have a few challenging sections, and some longish but gradual climbs. Loved my morning out

Excellent organisation, easy to locate thanks to the GPS pin drop and clear signage. We were warmly welcomed, cheerful smile and the friendly registration team ensured the admin was quick and easy. The route was well marked, magnificent surroundings and pristine. The information points were well manned by knowledgeable crew which provided fascinating details of the environment. Thanks for the privilege of running in this private reserve and making the first Dad & Son trail such a memorable experience! Welldone

It was overall a very well organised & enjoyable event. There was ample parking with friendly but efficient security, welcoming & friendly organisers, a lovely route, especially along the paths, and delicious boerie rolls & coffee afterwards. What better way to spend a morning? Thanks very much to all involved.

A fabulous experience. I was very impressed with the very smooth registration process and what an amazing place to run. The course was varied and very enjoyable. The run is excellent value for money - in the Cape we pay much more for trailruns like this. Marshalls were also very friendly and the whole atmosphere was very jovial. Also very nice to have the boerieroll & coffee stands. As an aside, it was very comforting to have the ambulance there - a friend stumbled and cut her knee on a rock and she was HUGELY impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the ambulance team (I chatted briefly to them afterwards as well and indeed they were very passionate and friendly - if possible please convey our sincere thanks to them too!)
